Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to www.DesertRiver.com or to products or services sold or distributed by Desert River or through www.DesertRiver.shop shall be adjudicated in the Courts of the United Arab Emirates and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY
We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms & Conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

• 15% handling fee applies on one-day rental rates for delivery, set up and removal. Minimum amount AED 500 in Dubai AED 1,000 in other cities in UAE.
  
• Dry Rental: for collection & return of items from our warehouse, we require a security deposit, which will be reimbursed on receipt of the items in good condition on the agreed date & time.
  
• Items are subject to availability, and bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.
  
• Damage or loss will be charged for at our current replacement rates.
  
• Customer is responsible to organize and pay for any licenses, permits, and/or access passes to the venue.
  
• Power to be supplied by customer.
  
• By confirming the booking, you accept our terms and conditions, available on request, which will prevail in the event of a discrepancy between customer's purchase order and our terms and conditions.
• 20% premium applies for bookings between 30 Dec 2024 - 2 Jan 2025

Cancellation policy (*)

• More than 14 days prior to the event: free cancellation.
  
• 14-6 days prior to the event: 25% cancellation fee. 75% refund.
  
• 5-3 days prior to the event: 25% cancellation fee. 75% credit note for future bookings, valid for 180 days.
  
• 48 hours or less prior to the event: 100% cancellation fee.
• 3% administration fee will be charged for refunds processed on card payments

* Not applicable on customized items and branding.

RISK OF LOSS

All items purchased from Desert River are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Desert River attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Desert River does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Desert River itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition and with original packaging.

PRICING

Except where noted otherwise, the price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice; or the estimated retail value for a comparably featured item offered elsewhere. The price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day. For certain items that are offered as a set, the price may represent “open-stock” prices, which means the aggregate of the manufacturer’s estimated or suggested retail price for each of the items included in the set.With respect to items sold by Desert River, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order. Despite our best efforts, it might happen that an item in our catalogue is mispriced. If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
